How to use Nova Clump correctly
The correct depth and daily cleaning are essential for firm clumping and to make the most of every bag.

Fill to a depth of 5-7 cm (2 bags)
This depth is essential for the litter to absorb moisture correctly and form compact clumps.

Remove waste daily
Remove urine clumps and faeces with a suitable litter scoop, preferably after every use.

Replace the removed amount using a third bag
As the amount of litter decreases and the layer falls below 5-7 cm, add fresh litter until the recommended depth is restored.

Carry out a complete clean
When necessary, completely empty the litter box, clean it and refill it with fresh litter.
Why is a depth of 5-7 cm important?
A layer that is too thin can result in less compact clumps, greater product waste and less effective odour control. Maintaining the recommended depth provides more efficient performance.
Estimated lifespan of Nova Clump
Its lifespan depends on the size of the litter box, the number of cats and how frequently it is cleaned.
1 cat + 1 litter box 2 bags – Approximately one month and one week.
2 cats + 1 litter box 2 bags – Approximately three weeks.
Recommendation: the number of litter boxes should be equal to the number of cats, plus one additional litter box.
How to switch from non-plant-based litter to Nova Clump
Many cats accept the change straight away, but a gradual transition can help them become familiar with the new texture.
Days 1-2 75% previous litter + 25% Nova Clump
Days 3-4 50% previous litter + 50% Nova Clump
Days 5-6 25% previous litter + 75% Nova Clump
From day 7 100% Nova Clump
If your cat adapts easily: you can switch the litter directly. Place a small clump of the previous litter on top so your cat recognises its scent and identifies the litter box.

It is biodegradable and water-soluble, so it can be disposed of in small quantities. However, we recommend using a biodegradable bag and placing it in the household waste.
Is it safe if my cat licks it?
It is made with plant-based ingredients, but it is not edible. If your cat swallows a few pellets, provide water and monitor its condition. If a significant amount is ingested, consult your veterinarian.
