Hello! If you are thinking about making a feed change or think that the feed you are giving your cat is not completely complete, I will explain below how to gradually make the change to Kit Cat feed.
It is possible that the food you are giving your cat lacks some nutrients. Can you imagine always giving the same food and missing some component?
Cats easily get used to feed and sometimes it is difficult to make any changes to their daily diet. But it is advisable to make changes so that they are as well fed as possible. Making changes with the types of feed is beneficial for your kitten, since this way you ensure that it does not lack anything in its nutrient intake.
Below I explain how you can gradually add Kit Cat food to your cat's daily diet to complement it.
- For the first 2 days we recommend that you give your kitten 80% of the feed that you already use and add 20% of the Kit Cat feed. This way your kitten will have the first contact with our feed but without ceasing to have its I think habitual.
- The next 2 days we will increase the portion of Kit Cat feed, thus obtaining 70% of the feed you used and 30% of the "No Grain" feed from Kit Cat.
- The next 2 days, we will continue with this gradual change and we will give our michi 60% of the usual feed and 40% of the "No Grain" Feed.
- The next 2 days, we will repeat the process, thus achieving a 50%-50% quantity of both feeds.
- You can continue with the gradual change and continue adding Kit Cat food to his daily life and when you see that he has gotten used to the change you can implement our food without problem daily. Make sure that the feed with which we make the gradual change is a grain-free feed such as Kit Cat Feed, that it is a feed with vitamins, complete and balanced. It is necessary to control calories in your kitten's diet; Kit Cat's "No grain" food has the necessary and recommended calories to ensure complete nutrition.
To make it more fun to eat, you can vary it and surprise your kitten every day. You can try our 4 flavors of Feed. If your cat is sterilized, don't worry, the four varieties we have are suitable for sterilized cats.
Our No Grain recipe is designed to meet your cat's unique needs through the highest quality products, essential nutrients and vitamins so you can rest assured that your cat is only receiving the best in cat food.
If you want to make the feed dish more fun, my personal trick is to top it with crumbled FreezeBites or a PurrPuree as a topping. This way it will be tastier and less boring for your kitty. In addition, you will be providing a high level of rich nutrients with optimal calories.
