They all share the same plant-based formula and performance. Choose according to scent, colour or, in the case of Kitten, pellet size.

Original No added fragrance and a light natural plant-based smell. Confetti A balanced blend of Original, Strawberry and Lavender. Strawberry A sweet, fruity and gentle scent. Lavender A light floral fragrance and a feeling of freshness. Charcoal With activated charcoal for enhanced odour control. No pronounced fragrance. Green Tea A herbal, fresh and subtle scent. Peach A fruity, light and delicate fragrance. Kitten Fine 2 mm granules that are more comfortable for kittens’ paw pads. Also suitable for adult cats. Coffee A very neutral profile. Despite its name, it does not release a strong coffee smell.

You can also mix them. Their gentle scents allow you to combine different varieties and create a personalised fragrance without changing your cat’s usual litter tray routine.

How to use Nova Clump correctly

The correct depth and daily cleaning are essential for firm clumping and making the most of every bag.

Fill to a depth of 5 to 7 cm (2 bags)

This depth is essential for the litter to absorb moisture correctly and form compact clumps.

Remove waste daily

Remove urine clumps and faeces with a suitable litter scoop, preferably after each use.

Replace the removed litter with a third bag

As the amount of litter decreases and the layer falls below 5–7 cm, add fresh litter until the recommended depth is restored.

Carry out a complete clean

When necessary, completely empty the litter tray, clean it and refill it with fresh litter.

Why is a depth of 5–7 cm important?

A layer that is too shallow may produce less compact clumps, more product waste and poorer odour control. Maintaining the recommended depth provides more efficient performance.

Estimated duration of Nova Clump

The duration depends on the size of the litter tray, the number of cats and how frequently it is cleaned.

1 cat + 1 litter tray2 bags – Approximate duration of one month and one week.

2 cats + 1 litter tray2 bags – Approximate duration of three weeks.

Recommendation: the number of litter trays should be equal to the number of cats, plus one extra.

How to switch from a non-plant-based litter to Nova Clump

Many cats accept the change immediately, but a gradual transition can help them become familiar with the new texture.

Days 1–2 75% previous litter + 25% Nova Clump

Days 3–4 50% previous litter + 50% Nova Clump

Days 5–6 25% previous litter + 75% Nova Clump

From day 7 100% Nova Clump

If your cat adapts easily: You can change the litter immediately. Place a small clump of the previous litter on top so your cat recognises its scent and identifies the litter tray.

Is it suitable for cats sensitive to dust?

Yes. As it does not produce airborne dust, it is particularly suitable for sensitive or asthmatic cats and for households that want to keep the area around the litter tray cleaner.

Can it be flushed down the toilet?

It is biodegradable and water-soluble, so it can be disposed of in small quantities. However, we recommend using a biodegradable bag and placing it in the household waste.

Is it safe if my cat licks it?

It is made with plant-based ingredients, but it is not edible. If your cat swallows a few pellets, provide water and monitor its condition. If a significant amount is ingested, consult your vet.

What does Nova Clump Strawberry smell like?

It has a sweet, fruity and gentle strawberry scent designed to provide freshness without being too intense.

Is it suitable for kittens?

Yes. Nova Clump Strawberry is suitable for kittens, although when they are very young, Nova Clump Kitten is more suitable, as it has finer 2 mm pellets that are softer and more comfortable for their small paw pads.

Can the fragrance bother my cat?

Its fragrance is gentle and designed not to be overpowering. For particularly sensitive cats, we recommend Coffee or Charcoal .

Does the fragrance replace odour control?

No. Odour control is mainly achieved through absorption and clumping. The fragrance provides an additional feeling of freshness.

The litter smells different over time. Is this normal?

Yes. The smell may vary due to use, diet, medication or temperature. Remove waste daily and maintain a depth of 5 to 7 cm.
